We’re currently on the lookout for passionate Domestic / General Assistants to join our award-winning hotel & leisure club. This is a key role within the organisation, helping us deliver first-class experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.


About the Role

As a Domestic / General Assistant, you’ll be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, from keeping our pool and changing areas spotless to buffing our sports hall floors until they shine. You’ll also play a vital role in ensuring the club is safe, clean, and welcoming for all our members and guests.

Typical hours include:

  • Monday to Friday: 06:00–14:15 / 14:00–22:30
  • Saturday & Sunday: 07:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:30

Flexibility and weekend availability are a must.

You’ll report directly to the Duty Manager and be instrumental in the daily operations of the club, including cleaning and pool supervision.


Important Information

This role is classed as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Applicants must be eligible to work with these groups. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to employment.

  • Expected Hours: 24–40 per week
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, day/night rotation, weekends & holidays
