To our wonderful members, customers and friends,

We would like to thank you at this time for your continued support and for the messages on social media as they have really installed a family feel and community spirit.  As a standalone family run business, it is messages like these that make what we do a pleasure.

Each and every one of us should be standing together and we will remain here for our Parklands family. We are currently trying to put together a plan for the day of re-opening, which is currently difficult but together with a fighting spirit we will most certainly get through this and come out stronger.

With the newly sanctioned closure of facilities like ours, we hope to have a date given in the summer to see you all again in the pool, gym, classes and the restaurant.  We will remain positive and ready to share stories soon.

Memberships

We have made the decision to stop any collections of membership fees at this time and for a hassle free transition, we will take all measures to do this from our end so there is no need to contact your bank.  We have also taken the decision to once again call for payments to be processed in July.  This may be positive thinking on our behalf but we want to make the re-opening as smooth a transition as possible for all our members. We are sure we will all be going stir crazy after being isolated from our friends and family for such a long period of time.  We will want to get back to normal and socialise as quickly as possible when the closures have been lifted.  Obviously if the closure is for a longer period of time then any monies paid will be for whatever month we are permitted to open.

We are happy to announce that all our staff will be retained and that not one single member of staff will be laid off or made redundant. We feel that we all have to pull together at this unprecedented time of uncertainty. We also want to be here for you and to this end could you please contact us by email with your concerns and we will endeavour to get back to you as quickly as possible. Please keep up to date with our activity on our social media channels.

During this temporary closure we will focus on two strong areas of action, as our family and senior management will be working tirelessly behind closed doors to provide support and manage bookings for later this year and beyond! These areas of action shall be:

Providing Booking Assistance & Member Engagement

  • Current / Scheduled Bookings

We will put all bookings on hold and will be in touch to reschedule when we have a better understanding of our opening date which is still to be decided from the government. For any assistance, please email our Events team [email protected]

  • Future Wedding Bookings

Please email [email protected] and our Weddings and Special Events team will be in touch shortly to assist in making your future dreams become a reality. Also keep a close eye on our website and social media for updates in how we’re helping brides and grooms over the remainder of this year and beyond. This will include support for those who have had destination weddings cancelled, who we intend to support with a dream package at home.

  • Online training and Access to Fitness Training Resources

Through our partnerships within the fitness industry we have many fitness resources available for those in self-isolation. These will be provided to all members very soon and we intend to innovate further to ensure we help look after your health and fitness, both physical and mental.

  • Positivity and Entertainment

We will work hard to entertain you all at home and work with you to spread positivity! We therefore ask you to keep a close eye on our social media accounts!

Further Innovations & Contributions

As government guidelines are changing rapidly, we will keep a very close eye on proceedings and look to innovate as much as possible to continue to serve our members and community.

This is of course a very difficult time for our industry and we appreciate your patience and understanding of the situation, and ask that this continues as we move forward together.
